Thankfully the re-release of Majora's Mask didn't come with a random inbuilt save - although that was the beginning of this 4Chan-originating tale, whereby a user reportedly bought a copy of the game from a stranger (that literally looked as appealing as the above image), only to pop it in at home and discover there was already a save marked 'Ben' therein. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGOJmdxdjeA The user tried to play but found bugs and glitches abounded whenever they tried to read anything, alongside Link's character model being painfully distorted and the game's audio repeating passages that were extremely jarring to hear. They stuck with it, and here's where the "Well I heard this/I heard that" variations kick in, as some people report the user successfully deleted the save only for it to appear again in a few days time like some spirit of who or whatever 'Ben' is - whereas others note it couldn't be deleted, instead the save's name would change to 'Drowned' instead. Very creepy, but if you really must know... the user who created the whole thing eventually came out after it all took off and said he was pulling everyone's leg. Not that people believed otherwise. Nope... not for a second.
