The Legend of Zelda franchise has been going for several decades now, and in that time we've had hundreds of hours of joy through the incredible games being released even to this day. Some bosses seem powerful, some simply unfair, but some hold power above all others. Whether it's an enemy, an ally, or just you in front of your screen doing your best, there are a select few characters who ascend the scale of power and break it - with unfathomable potential, resources and abilities.
Whether you see them on the other end of the battlefield, or their appearance is unknown, the series spanning dozens of timelines and several parallel universes contains a handful of deity-level characters who you really don't want to mess with. Yes, as strange
as it might seem as he’s the character you play in every Zelda game, Link only
comes in at 10th place on this list. He’s your link to the universe,
and as such he is dependant on the player’s skill, however we’ll rank him based
on his maximum potential.
As well as having the triforce of courage, giving him the willpower to face even the deadliest of foes, Link is essentially immortal. By that, I mean that he’s reborn into every era with the express purpose of fighting evil. Less well-versed Zelda fans might not know this, but every Link is essentially a different person but with the same overall essence of being.
In terms of powers, he’s not only a master swordsman but often solves incredibly complex puzzles, meaning he’s certainly intelligent. However, what makes Link so powerful is his arsenal. We all know about the Master Sword, and about his ocarina which can bend the flow of time, but he also has an immeasurable number of weapons across the franchise. The Biggoron sword and the Power Gauntlets alone are enough to make this hero a serious power in Hyrule.
