9. Mega Man Battle And Chase
For a brief period in time, in between his terrible first box art cover and when he got all fat in Street Fighter X Tekken, Mega Man did what every mascot seemed to do - forget about his worries and the threat of robo annihilation, and pick up sports.
And you know what? Alongside Mega Man Soccer, his Battle and Chase game for the PS1 was actually pretty brilliant. Sure it was a bit clunky on the corners, but come on, he was driving a dog, and the action side of the game was a fresh change of pace for racers at the time.
Each player has a different power, which you can charge up and unleash on your opponents, and if you were feeling particularly devious, when you win races in the grand prix you could steal components from other racers' cards and add them to your own.
It was kind of like a cross between a kid-friendly Carmageddon, Mario Kart and Lego Racers. All ticks in my book.
