It's been six long years since Valve gave us Portal 2. A triumphant puzzler as well as a remarkably funny title, the game has had a profound effect on fans, and still remains one of Valve's best ever games.

Whilst there are many intricate puzzles in Portal 2 that really test your critical thinking, the best part of the game comes very close to the end, a frantic chapter aptly titled 'The Part Where He Kills You'.

Stephen Merchant's Wheatley gives up entirely on trying to test your skill and assaults you with everything he has, whether it's spiky platforms, bombs or a firing line of turrets, there's no longer an easy answer beyond 'fight for your life'...

The way the game forces you to think quickly as you're faced with a series of death traps makes for some adrenaline-pumping gameplay that serves as one of the game's finest moments, and perfectly leads into the final boss battle. A true unsung hero of a chapter within an already fantastic game.
