10 Most Value For Money PS5 Games
1. Elden Ring
Elden Ring feels like the game all of FromSoftware's predecessors were striding towards. It implements every factor we've come to expect from a Soulsborne title and cranks it up to 11.
Even though the gameplay is exquisite and the bosses are epic, it's the gargantuan open world that sets Hidetaka Miyazaki's work above its competition. Because there are no set paths, objectives, or guidelines, you have total freedom to go as you please (until a Fire Giant melts you into sludge).
By sticking to the main campaign, you're looking at a 55-hour playthrough. If you wish to complete every side-mission, you'll clocking in over a hundred hours. And with the first expansion on the way, this already gigantic game is only going getting bigger.
But that's not all. Because of Elden Ring's structure (or lack of), every playthrough feels different, giving it a huge amount of replayability. Because of this, you could play for years before you get tired of it. Not bad considering you can now purchase the RPG for just over £40.)
Although the game plays great on every system, the PS5 version shines brightest. 4K resolution. Minimal loading. No frame-rate issues. Seriously, it's a wonder to behold. Not only is Elden Ring a perfect experience, it demonstrates the PlayStation 5's potential better than any other title.
