10 Obscure Star Wars Characters Who Need To Be In LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Yarael Poof was a Quermian Jedi Master who served on the Jedi Council in the film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Despite the similarity in appearance between their races, the Quermian and the Kaminoan, the aliens that created the clone army for the Republic, are not at all related. George Lucas made the decision to cut Poof from Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones for this reason, to stop audiences being confused between the two races. His seat on the Jedi Council was taken by Coleman Trebor, a Vurk Jedi Master who was killed by Jango Fett in the battle of Geonosis.

While Poof’s current role in the Disney Cannon is incredibly limited, his role is more substantial in Legends. His death was detailed in the ‘Star Wars: Zam Wesell’ graphic novel, in which Poof teams up with Jango Fett and Zam Wesell to take down a revolutionary named Ashaar Khorda. Yarael Poof sacrifices his life to save Courasant from Khorda’s evil plot.

The Jedi make for some of the most fun characters in the various LEGO Star Wars game, and Yarael Poof would be no exception. While in the current Disney Cannon he wields a blue-bladed Lightsaber, Poof originally wielded a yellow-bladed Lightsaber in Legends. With the yellow blade colour still featuring in the Disney Cannon, restoring Poof his yellow Lightsaber would be sure to make him stand out.
