4. VVVVVV
VVVVVV can be as confusing in its gameplay at times as it can with its name. And on the subject of the name, see it as less of a title and more of a very literal demonstration of what you’ll be doing in the game.
To be specific, that’s going up and down and up and down, and up, and down. Which is to say, VVVVV is an old school exploration platformer set in a space station that lets you bend the laws of gravity to your will.
You’re not as free as a game like Gravity Rush, mind you, but being able to quickly transition from the floor to the ceiling and vice versa as quickly as you can snap your fingers, allows for some really fantastic little segments and puzzles.
It’s not a particularly easy game, either. You’ll die a fair bit, but you respawn so fast that it doesn’t really matter - just jump back in and try again.
