10 PlayStation Franchises We Need On PS5
1. Jak & Daxter
We all knew this game would be on this list. And for good reason.
Jak and Daxter defined the PS2 era for many, many gamers. Developed by Naughty Dog, the team took every lesson they learned from their time on Crash Bandicoot and created a top tier platformer because of it.
As the series went on, the gameplay just got better and the story got more mature and more epic. The main trilogy is so beloved that a fourth game has been requested ever since Jak 3 came out in 2004. Instead of that though, there have only been spin-offs and bundles of the games.
The latest bundle came out in 2017 for the PS4, so its obvious that Sony hasn't forgotten about the series. Of course, Naughty Dog has been busy with various other projects since their time on Jak and Daxter, but there's always hope.
If PlayStation decided that they need another reason for people to buy a PS5, a true Jak 4 would definitely push sales. Hopefully the duo appear once again soon.
