10 PlayStation Franchises We Need On PS5
4. Gravity Rush
Do you remember the Vita? Based on the sales numbers, you probably don't. Which is a shame because there were some genuinely fantastic gems that were stuck on the system for the longest time.
One such gem is Gravity Rush, a game where you play as a girl named Kat that can control gravity itself. Using gravity to propel yourself and explore the open world, the game was quickly praised for its protagonist and gameplay mechanics, and developed a strong cult following as a result.
For a Vita title (Vita means life by the way), it sold really well, so much so that it got a sequel that was also critically well-received.
Unfortunately, the development team behind the games dissolved in 2020, but the series could easily get sent to another developer so it could make an appearance on the PS5. Anything to get more eyes on this series.
Speaking of, both Gravity Rush 1 and 2 were ported to PS4. Give them a look if you want to float around.
