PaRappa is straight out of the 90's, but the humor and charm of the games is why people never forgot about the rhythm game series. There were only two entries and two ports to newer hardware, but despite there being no new games since the PS1, people are still clamoring to see the flat rapper once again.

The style, the catchy tunes that get stuck in your head, the humor, all of it has stood the test of time, and it could easily make an impact with players in 2022 with very little changes.

We can only hope that PaRappa comes back sooner rather than later, because if there's anything the world needs more of, it's funky ear-worms sung by a flat dog.
