10. It Won't Connect To Any Of The Movies

Everyone from pop-culture enthusiasts to homeless people and the likes of my middle-aged dad are aware that Batman v Superman is hitting theatres next month, and it's a rather big deal. The fact that Telltale€™s Batman plans to release in the same year - possibly around the time of the film€™s blu-ray/DVD launch - is no coincidence, and the year of the bat, as it were, is very firmly in swing. However, it's safe to assume that the two projects will be entirely unrelated, save for characters and setting. For starters, the bat-symbol used in the game is completely different to the one Ben Affleck will sport in the film, and Telltale€™s signature episodic style (which they will surely employ again here) just wouldn't fit the classic three-act film structure. What's more, it's just not what Telltale does. Minecraft, Borderlands, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead were entirely original stories, and besides the obligatory references to their source material, those games told brand new tales - and Telltale€™s Batman will surely follow suit.
