10 Predicted Features Of Telltale's Batman Game

8. We'll Get To Ride In The Batmobile

The Batman 'character' that nobody gives due credit to, the Batmobile is arguably just as famous as the man himself. Bruce Wayne€™s tragedy-fuelled rampage through the streets of Gotham is aided considerably by his penchant for aggressive vehicular design, and the Batmobile encompasses this beautifully. Now, obviously Telltale don't make traditional games, so it's unlikely we€™ll get to slam on the gas and pull 360 handbrake turns at our leisure. But, the Batmobile is such a signature part of the way Batman fights crime - and in a vast metropolis like Gotham, enemy vehicles are a dime a dozen - that it makes sense to include it, even in a basic Telltale-gameplay way. I doubt we'll be getting an Arkham Asylum style closed adventure, because if we did, it would just be compared negatively to that game. Look at Telltale's Game of Thrones, or The Walking Dead; both told epic, globe-trotting tales, and there's no reason to assume Batman will be a confined experience. This would allow for some cool vehicle design, with every creator who gets their hands on this blacked-out monster truck bringing their own signature style to it. And who knows, in thirty years, we could look back on Telltale€™s Batmobile as one of the defining designs of our generation.
