10 Promising Games You Didn't Know Were Coming In 2015

4. Armikrog

Developer: Pencil Test Studios Release: Q1 2015 Point-and-click adventure games were one of the big casualties of the switch from 2D to polygon-based gaming. Developers like Telltale have been among the few studios to make efforts to bring the genre back, but it's unlikely it'll never be as big as it once was. It's always nice to see a new point-and-click adventure game, and that's exactly what Armikrog is. A spiritual successor to 1996's dreamlike 'The Neverhood,' Armikrog will also feature clay animation. The game was funded primarily through a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, and follows the story of a space explorer and his talking dog, who crash land on a strange planet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fArOdmx8kLQ
