10 PROVEN Ways To Get Into The Gaming Industry

3. Genuine Enthusiasm

Be excited, and be excitable!

Creatvity and enthusiasm are infectious, and if you turn up to an interview with a pep in your step (ideally just from optimism, as opposed to class-A drugs) you’re going to leave a better impression on a recruiter than someone sitting like they forgot to pack headphones for a cross-country bus journey.

And this goes far beyond just “this person is happy” - it shows that you can’t wait to get started, and this attitude will breathe an air of fresh enthusiasm into the existing team (as well as make you more approachable so you integrate more easily).

Hey, it’s not just about you, you goddamned narcissist.
