Secrets are the bread and butter of Red Dead Redemption 2. No matter where you go or what you do, there's always some kind of hidden feature or mystery lurking just around the corner.

This is obviously the case with the game's NPCs as well. There are plenty of unique and bizarre characters hiding in different parts of the map, but the most elusive of them all is the lone monk meditating atop a mountain.

Because of his remote location in Grizzlies East and the fact that the area is partially marked as a restricted area, only a fraction of the playerbase has dared to venture up the mountain to meet him.

Well, it's more "see" than "meet," actually, given that the monk doesn't really talk and tends to ignore you to focus on his meditation.

For this reason, those who have found him have made it their life's goal to find a way to make the monk pay attention to them.

They antagonize him, shoot him, hogtie him, and do other kinds of nasty things in hopes of coaxing a reaction out of him.
