9. The Casual Fans
Despite the revered hardcore PC fans, the casual gaming fan is just as important to PC gaming and there is a lot for the casual gamer to enjoy on PC. The console market doesn't own casual gamers. You don't need to spend a load of money on PC gaming to enjoy it, and gamers can get in from work and kick back with a low impact game just as they would on a console. The perfect example is Football Manager. More engaging than FIFA, you can get in from a hard days work and take the game at your own pace, casually enjoying the satisfaction of managing and results. In fact, PC can argue that it has always been a better home for casual gamers than the console market. Think about classics like The Sims, games which were so good that the consoles nicked them.
