10 Reasons You'll Want To Play Ghost Recon: Wildlands

As is expected of massive, open-world, infiltration games, there is an active day/night cycle and dynamic weather system (how spoilt we gamers are these days). Weather varies according the geography of the map, so while you can expect frequent heavy rain to cover footsteps in the jungle, you'll have to rely more on patience and camouflage when navigating the high altitude, cover-free salt flats.

As with the civilian population of the map, the enemy soldiers and officers have their own routines throughout the day and night-time. A town might have too many eyes and ears about during the day to surmount any hope of capturing your target, but wait until night-time and the guards on duty might decrease in number, get drunk, or offer an opportunity during the guard changeover.

Or maybe the target will jump in their car and drive to a more secluded spot, or offer an opportunity for you to kidnap them mid-drive.

Even the landscape itself, as treacherous as it is, offers huge opportunity to vary and adapt approaches to missions. Take your time scouting enemy bases to find hidden entrances or unguarded escape vehicles. Load up with guns and rockets to mount a head-on assault. Or grab a friend online to serve as a distraction for the guards while you sneak in to grab the real prize.

The scale of opportunity is truly impressive and its likely players will be revisiting missions many times over.
