In the game, you play as a scientist trying to develop a cure for a virus that's going to kill all life on the planet within a week. You have only six days to do your job, and depending on the choices you make, you can either save the world or doom everyone.

However, there is also a secret suicide ending that can happen if you don't take care of your other duties along the way.

Aside from your work at the lab, the game also has you make choices regarding your family and your co-worker Jim.

If you miss at least one day of work to spend more time with your wife and daughter, the angry Jim will come to your house to kill them on day five.
