10 Terrifying Warhammer 40K Creatures

Hive Tyrants are about the closest thing to a commander that the Tyranid race have at their disposal. These creatures are large six limbed, bipedal versions of the typica Tyranid appearance. They stand at nearly 20 feet tall, and being able to wield large biomorphic weapons. Some of these weapons include arm cannons, swords, and even whips that secrete a toxic slime.

Aside from being an extremely formidable foe on the battlefield, these Hive Tyrants are able to command the armies of the Hive. They are able to harness psychic powers to control the actions of the lesser hive creatures, as well as make devastating mental attacks upon opponents.

Some of these Hive Tyrants have also been known to acidic blood, large wings, and even glands that can secrete an adrenaline fluid extremely close to rocket fuel. These biological weapons are not something to be messed with, especially considering the high mental state of these monsters. Most of the Hive creatures are considered to be extremely animalistic, making them hard to control but extremely powerful. The capability that the Hive Tyrant has to control so many creatures and create a truly horrifying army is something unmatched in the Warhammer 40K universe.
