10 Things You Should NOT Do With Pokémon GO

6. Hunt At Night

After a long day of work (or getting sacked by the boss for farting around with Pokémon Go during your shifts – delete as applicable), playing bit of Pokémon Go might help you unwind a bit.

Soon enough, you notice it's getting darker and darker outside. Usually, a venturous trip into the night to get yourself some ladies/gents is a fun venture, but that would take away from your Pokémon-hunting. So, Pokémon Go it is...

Going out in the dark with your phone illuminating your grinning mug will be the perfect sign for a thief or mugger that you're an easy target. In fact, a group of pour souls were mugged in Missouri because of the trackers in the game.

Whatever you do, be cautious when you activate the beacon function. Some sick, nasty people could be using it to find your location for whatever the reason. For the love of all that is decent, don't let the kids to the same, since they might even stumble into a white van labelled “Free Pokémon inside!”

It's dangerous to go out into the wilderness alone, so save it for the daytime. Tempting it may be to whip out your phone and start tossing Pokeballs around, just remember: if it's too dark, then now is not the time.
