10 Things You Should NOT Do With Pokémon GO

7. Let It Drain Your Battery

This game is a real power-guzzler. No amount of electric Pokémon will help keep it charged up to maximum power, though. Then again, a real Pikachu would probably blow up the friggin' thing.

The GPS and Augmented Reality features implemented in the game will drain your phone to nil seamlessly. The last thing you want to do is let it hit zero just as you're about to snag something.

Always begin hunting for the critters with a FULL battery, but leave just enough for emergency calls, in case you stumble into an awkward situation. Your virtual Pokémon won't save you from harm (unless there are any nearby rabble-rousers with a big “R” printed on their attire larking about nearby).

Keep that charger cable handy; maybe there's a place where you can take-five and charge your precious phone? Then again, a portable charger will make things a little bit easier here, provided you can get one.

There is an easy way of maintaining the battery life. Indeed, popping it into power saver mode will be of use here. Fret not, for it will not have an effect on the game's performance, nor will it send the GPS into a sluggish array.

Check out our full breakdown of battery tips over here.
