PlayStation titans Uncharted and The Last of Us have enjoyed a tongue in cheek relationship since the first instalment of the latter debuted in 2013. Easter Eggs indicating a shared universe have popped up across both instalments of Neill Druckmann's game series, as well as within the confines of the fourth and final release in the saga of Nathan Drake.

From dusty old copies of Uncharted lying amongst abandoned homes all the way to Drake finding a Firefly pendant on a cliffside, Naughty Dog's most prominent gaming series have wasted no opportunity to slip in references to each other. Ellie even sees a Nathan Drake Halloween costume in the Left Behind DLC, linking perfectly into the show's latest triumphant Uncharted callback.

As Riley and Ellie explore the abandoned mall in Episode 8, one of the stalls they encounter is a derelict fast food kiosk named Macho Nacho. This laughably unimaginative, yet surprisingly memorable handle seems superfluous, but it's actually the most obscure reference imaginable hiding in plain sight, spotted by the laser focused eyes of the internet.

Uncharted 4 features a conversation between Nate and Elena bickering in their typical fashion as they explore a ruined building - Nate reacts in disbelief as he finds out that his wife once worked at a certain Mexican restaurant. The restaurant in question? You guessed it.
