Some may argue here that the original deserves a spot on this list. I,of course argue the fact, actually feeling that the sequel is a far more mature effort featuring better performances from both the existing cast of the first one and the new additions added to it.

Emilio Estevez once again takes on the mantle of William H. Bonney and returns with alumni and arguably the better actors from the first film in Kiefer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Phillips. Estevez also appears as 'Brushy' Bill Roberts, a man in the 1950's giving his account to a journalist claiming that he is indeed Billy The Kid and he recounts his story.

This story is the one that features the infamous take of Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid but spins off to incorporate the story raising a did he, didn't he vibe. Here we have William Petersen playing Garrett which adds an extra layer of solid acting to the whole package coming off successes such as To Live And Die In L.A. and Manhunter and continuing his good form off those movies here.

Of course I have to mention the then classic soundtrack from New Jersey's second biggest musician Jon Bon Jovi who provided a memorable track for the film after Emilio approached him to use 'Wanted:Dead Or Alive', and 'Blaze Of Glory'. Still remaining one of Jon's best solo efforts, it's earned its spot on rock radio stations and holds up rather well to this day.
