10 Upcoming 2019 Video Games We're Incredibly Worried About

The Trials franchise may not be a AAA behemoth, but it has a loyal following of devoted fans who just can't get enough of its ludicrously difficult, physics-driven vehicular platforming mayhem.

Ubisoft announced at E3 that a new Trials game, Trials Rising, was finally on the way, and incredibly exciting that news was...until Ubisoft ran a closed beta last month.

If you were lucky enough to partake, you'll know that it was a little on the rough side, to be kind. Though the core gameplay is as fine as it's ever been, the game is a mess from a technical perspective, with constant stuttering, repulsively sluggish menus and long loading times.

Moreover, the inspired silliness of the previous titles is mostly gone in favour of a more gritty, box-ticking racing game complete with totally pointless loot box nonsense.

Fingers crossed that RedLynx can tighten things up by February, but there's still the overarching feeling that Trials Rising is too far gone from the brilliant, addictive simplicity of the earlier entries into the series.
