10 Upcoming Games That Have Already Made One HUGE Mistake
1. Removing THPS4's Career Mode - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4
Though it certainly looks like Iron Galaxy is doing plenty right with their upcoming remake compilation Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, many fans were extremely disappointed to learn that the much-loved open-ended career mode of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 will not be included in this remake.
The career mode has instead been replaced with two-minute runs where players attempt to complete challenges, as is the norm with the first three games in the series.
Given that many long-time THPS fans have considerable nostalgia for Pro Skater 4's open world career mode, goofy quest-givers and all, it's a shame that it won't be getting a full-fat 4K update.
Why call it a remake at all if Pro Skater 4 is clearly more of a curtailed reimagining, under the questionable guise of making it "more consistent" with the original trilogy no less?
This isn't to say that the collection won't be fun regardless, but by removing Pro Skater 4's career mode they've also ripped out one of its most fondly remembered elements. Baffling.
