10 Upcoming Video Games That Are Already Doomed

And finally we have Little Devil Inside, the extremely neat-looking action-adventure RPG from Neostream Interactive that was initially announced via a Kickstarter campaign all the way back in April 2015.

Neostream intended to launch the game in 2016, but more than a decade on from its reveal we still have no earthly idea when we might be playing it.

The developer has missed several planned release dates and gone radio silence for troublingly long periods, though it actually seemed like production might be getting somewhere when they confirmed a partnership with Sony to release exclusively for PS4 and PS5.

However, in early 2024 the developer revealed that their team had been downsized and they were currently in talks with new publishers, seeming to suggested that their deal with Sony had lapsed, presumably due to the lack of forward-momentum on the project.

Many have pointed to Little Devil Inside and called it an obvious victim of scope creep, that the team fleshed their initial concept out into a larger open world survival game that their resources are struggling to bring to the finish line.

So much of what Neostream has shown looks absolutely fantastic, but it's just hard to accept that this thing will ever actually be ready to ship.

Plus, considering how long it's been in development, it's even harder to see a reality where it's economically viable for Neostream.
