10 Upcoming Video Games To Look Out For In March 2017

9. Super Bomberman R

What is it: Super Bomberman R is Konami's bombastic return to the explosive action/puzzle game.

Players can choose from the eight Bomberman brothers in a single player or co-operative story mode, blowing apart every enemy in their way as they save the world by taking on bosses both big and small. Players can unlock not only visual customizations such as new hats and silly pink ball replacements but can also unlock playable boss characters too.

Of course, it wouldn't be Bomberman without the insane free-for-all action battle mode, and Super Bomberman R delivers that in spades. Supporting a gargantuan count of eight players locally or via online play, Super Bomberman R has already positioned itself to be a party gaming favorite in the Nintendo Switch library.

While some might scoff at the clearly retro aesthetic and somewhat cheap looking graphics, the gameplay looks to be just as enticing as ever by sticking to the basics, keeping the familiar grid-based gameplay as always. There's nothing that can go wrong sticking with what works, after all.

When's it coming out: 3rd March, alongside the Nintendo Switch.
