The Last of Us is a survival horror game about living in the apocalypse. More than that though, it's about humanity. The game is more focused on story than gameplay (although the gameplay is also pretty good). It's basically a character study that focuses on one man and the little girl he's been assigned to protect.

The Last of Us Part 2 continues their story, but it's five years later. The girl, Ellie, is all grown up. She's the new main protagonist of the game, whereas she had to share the title with the man, Joel, in the last one.

Despite being highly anticipated, The Last of Us Part 2 is a mystery. The game was announced three years ago, but Naughty Dog is reluctant to say much about the title. It could be that they're attempting to hide its plot, but all they're doing is ensuring that customers forget all about the game.

Last E3, Sony aired a new trailer for the game since it was one of the "Big Four" games that Sony was showing off. It showed off new story elements and gameplay but didn't provide much else.

There's a rumor that the game's internally been delayed to early 2020. Mild development troubles might explain the lack of information, but it's frustrating nonetheless. Let's hope that Naughty Dog releases some official news soon.
