The Security skill in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic might sound like an important one on name basis alone, but it ultimately doesn't amount to anything more than opening doors and containers with a little extra grace.

You see, players are able to simply bash open almost any locked door or container in the game without having the Security perk with no penalty whatsoever, so why bother wasting points on it?
