5. DCU Online
This has got to be one of the biggest and best fights the DCU has ever put into any kind of motion. The sheer epic scale of the trailer is rather exciting and also has a neat narrative twist at the end. Not many trailers would kill off a bunch of their main protagonists, but DCU's announcement trailer gleefully tore apart the Justice League with reckless abandon. Batman and the Flash are probably dead. Wonder Woman looks dead. The Green Lantern is dead. Superman is definitely dead. Seeing the JLA take on the biggest and best villains in a massive brawl is pretty exciting to watch and it is full of surprises, all ending with a rather ominous note and setting up a world for the MMO to play in. Of course, it isn't representative of any sort of gameplay, as you don't get to play as these heroes, and you aren't so much involved in a massive punch up to the death. However, it works as a nice narrative hook for the MMO and I am sure the game sold a fair bit just on the strength of this trailer.
