1. Professor Nakayama - Borderlands 2

True to form, the Borderlands 2 DLC Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt is fun from start to finish, in no small part because of Professor Nakayama.

Nakayama - a genius evil scientist obsessed with Handsome Jack - becomes sure that you've come to foil his evil schemes, only to awkwardly find out that you're actually only nearby because you're on a hunting weekend.

However, you end up going after him anyways - half out of pity, and half because otherwise someone else will have to deal with the dude. After countless other battles, you finally find him: your new archenemy, fully prepared to take you on.

He's ready for the fight. You're ready for the fight. He steps down towards you, preparing for some kind of outrageous waging of war, and... he slips.

Not just a little, though. He fully falls, and - since he's on a staircase - tumbles painfully down to the bottom, dying on the way.

As darkly hilarious as this is, you can't help but feel sorry for Nakayama, because the one time he finally got brave enough to make a stand, it ends with him dying in a decidedly embarrassing manner.
