10 Video Game Bosses Genuinely IMPOSSIBLE Without A Guide

2. Sho Minamimoto - The World Ends With You

If Kingdom Hearts is Tetsuya Nomura's baby, then TWEWY is the old muscle car he keeps in his garage that his wife constantly tries to get him to sell because he keeps saying he'll fix it up but never does.

The story - centering around main character and poster boy for "I hate this kid because I WAS this kid" projection Neku trying to find out who killed him and sent his soul into a death game - seems to come to a head when Neku confronts the math obsessed Sho Minamimoto, whom he believes is the one who murdered him.

The fight is PUNISHING, primarily because Sho takes full advantage of the game's central gimmick: that fights in this game take place on both the top and bottom screen of the DS. While he can jump around willy nilly and attack Neku and Joshua on either screen, your sorry butt is trapped on the bottom screen.

If you don't have a guide to help you prepare for some of the more punishing moves Sho has at his disposal, then this fight is going to be actual torture for you.
