6. Yiazmat (Final Fantasy XII)

Yiazmat has no story or no dialogue: in fact, he has nothing but the bounty placed on his head. When I was first given the hunt for Yiazmat, I thought nothing of it and made my way towards the Colosseum and got ready for another difficult battle. I didn't expect to face an enemy that had over 50 million HP, could cap my damage and had a chance at instantly killing my best character. The question is, why did he deserve to win? Well, technically he did: I was wiped out 3 times before I got my head in the game and defeated him and even then it took me 2 hours. You see Montblac created Clan Centurio to find the best warriors to defeat this monster as it was responsible for the death of his master. When you look at it though, Yiazmat never leaves his spot in Ridroana, he seems quite content to stay where he is and never ventures out. Whilst many other bosses and hunts are located in areas that are used by travellers so they need to be eliminated, Yiazmat is completely out of the way. Throw in the fact that he's got the highest HP of any boss in all the Final Fantasy games, can regenerate his HP, and has devastating attacks, and I think he should be left alone. Sure, he's a giant dragon, but when it takes a couple of hours to defeat a boss it might be a good idea to just let him win and carry on with your life.
