10 Video Game Bosses That Were (Almost) Too Hilarious To Kill
1. The Great Mighty Poo - Conker’s Bad Fur Day
It was inevitable that this great, iconic hunk of faecal matter would appear somewhere on this list, so it was probably best to embrace that fact and put it front and centre. Conker’s Bad Fur Day is renowned as one of the least family-friendly titles to ever hit a Nintendo system, and this Poo Mountain dweller is just one reason why.
Encountered in chapter five of the game (which is titled Sloprano, because of course it is), this disgusting creature has a penchant for sweetcorn and opera singing.
Its profanity-laden song (more heavily censored in Conker: Live And Reloaded) sets the scene for the battle nicely: it’s going to hurl poopy projectiles at the player, it sings, and that’s exactly what happens.
Conker, in response, has to throw toilet paper into its mouth (its deadly weakness, naturally) while it’s distracted with singing. The whole affair is so brilliantly ridiculous that we didn’t even want to flush The Great Mighty Poo out of Poo Mountain, but those are the breaks.
