10 Video Game Bosses Who Cheated To Win (And Still Lost)

1. Nitros Oxide - Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Nitros Oxide is an alien overlord obsessed with car races and the final boss of Crash Team Racing. Aside from being an annoying and braggadocious jerk, he's also a terrible cheat. As in, he's really terrible at cheating.

Oxide is the only boss in the game who begins the race with you before the green light appears on the screen, allowing him to get a head start before you can even move your vehicle. Seriously, even Pinstripe, a literal mafia boss, doesn't swoop that low, but if this somehow wasn't enough of a reason to hate Oxide, he also has unlimited access to all of the weapons of the previous bosses and makes sure to abuse this power.

You'd think the guy who's willing to implement so many cheats into his strategy would at least pose a threat to you, but to be perfectly honest, he simply doesn't. Because he's only really a problem when you're behind him and his arsenal of weapons, all it takes is one good item to get ahead of him, and Oxide can't do much to regain his position.

Too bad there's no cheat for getting stuck in second place, huh, Oxide?
