Fighting games just can't help themselves, can they? As soon as they get round to including a fighter well versed in the art of Kung Fu, they need to give him the thick black hair, nationality, and silly combat sounds of the great Bruce Lee.

Of course, Bruce Lee is pretty much inseparable from his movie personas, as given away by the fact that he's called 'Lee' in Enter the Dragon - the movie that convinced us all that going 'Ooooooh' and 'Waaaaaaa' in the backs of our throats while fighting somehow makes us more intimidating.

Including Lee in fighting games seems like a fitting tribute though. After all, the premise of super-acrobatic Kung Fu battles between two insanely skilled warriors was popularised by Enter the Dragon (and Way of the Dragon) - paving the way for games to use the same premise decades later.
