10 Video Game Endings Worse Than A Game Over

Should you have read Harlan Ellison's nightmare-inducing short story I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, you might want take a quick pause from reading this, just to deal with any flashbacks you may be having.

If you haven't, you are likely looking with horror at the image of what initially appears to be a very sad centipede. You may also be screaming - and if you are, nobody blames you.

Because this sad looking creature is you. You after you win the game, if you happen to get the bad ending. Congrats?

In short, getting the bad ending of this game involves killing all of the controllable players but one. In a move that mirrors the ending of the short story, the evil computer you are trying to escape the control of decides that this final human must be kept alive - so they can be tortured more.
