5. Bone Charm Crafting: Dishonored 2
The Dishonored Series is one of the industry's most imaginative RPGs, taking place in a particularly gritty world filled with some of the most morally questionable people in all of gaming.
The presence of bone charms is one of many strange elements in the series. Typically made from the bones of whales, they award the player with many small boosts and effects that can be used to complement your play style, whatever that may look like.
They were hidden throughout the first game, becoming something to hunt and collect if you fancied giving yourself an edge as you continued with your quest to save Emily and avenge the Empress.
When Dishonored 2 was released, bone charms were once again present, although with a slight twist: now, players could create them, customising the effects they offered.
It was not even remotely necessary. There weren't many things that could have been improved upon in the sequel to the brilliant Dishonored, and creating our own trinkets made from the bones of the long dead really isn't something that anyone had much of an interest in.
