10 Video Game Final Bosses That Were Stupidly Easy To Beat

8. Fontaine (BioShock)

BioShock is such a well-made and beautifully-paced game, but many players felt that the final boss fight felt like a real anti-climax. The game's primary antagonist, Frank Fontaine, was even a let-down in his appearance, looking like The Watchmen's Doctor Manhattan with a bad case of roid rage.

The fight with Fontaine could have been a great one, but players quickly learnt that it was simply too easy to blast the boss with the chemical thrower weapon. Using the electric gel, Fontaine is almost entirely paralysed and has no real opportunity to fight back, meaning that most of the fight can be won by just standing in one spot and holding down the trigger.

By the end of the game, players have usually upgraded their weapons to deal big damage and many will have acquired the grenade launcher too, allowing them to easily finish Fontaine off with a few rockets to the face. This boss just didn't have enough health or defensive abilities to deal with the player's huge arsenal of weapons and plasmids.
