4. Giovanni (Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow)
Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow do feature some additional bosses in the Indigo Plateau section, but the final gym leader and main antagonist of the game is Giovanni. This guy is the boss of Team Rocket and is supposed to have some of the toughest Pokémon on the planet, so you'd expect him to put up a real fight at the end of the game.
In reality, however, Giovanni's team is one of the weakest you'll ever face. He only uses Ground-type Pokémon, meaning that if you have a strong Water or Grass monster on your team, you can run through his entire lineup without breaking a sweat. Players should be going into the battle with at least one Water-type as you need the 'Surf' ability to get to Giovanni in the first place, so it was almost impossible to lose this fight.
The battle is even easier in Pokémon Yellow, in which Giovanni's Dugtrio only uses Ground attacks, making it completely ineffective against Flying-types. This means you can technically beat his first Pokémon using a low level Pidgey or Spearow.
