10 Video Game Junk Items You Didn't Know Can Be Turned Into Treasure
1. Broom - Assassin's Creed II
If you were to ask an average person what's the most iconic weapon from the Assassin's Creed series, most would likely say the hidden blade. However, those who have played Assassin's Creed II extensively will tell you that the true weapon of a seasoned assassin is a common broom.
In Assassin's Creed II, it is possible to fight with improvised weapons such as pitchforks, fishing poles, and brooms. For some bizarre reason, these items (but especially the broom) are somehow the deadliest things you can unleash upon your enemies.
The broom, despite being easily disregarded as a junk item, is secretly capable of dealing huge amounts of damage upon your enemies. When Ezio picks it up, it acts and sounds exactly as a mace would, including its high damage output that can take down entire squads of armed guards with just a few swings.
To make things even more ridiculous, the broom is capable of performing stealth kills, meaning that you can slit people's throats with it if you sneak up on them.
It seems splinters are deadlier than everyone thought.
