10 Video Game Mysteries The Developers Had To Solve For You

4. Rogue Squadron 64 - The Hidden Naboo Starfighter

So this one is especially weird, as many of the devs working on Rogue Squadron 64 had no idea about it either. Even though LucasArts had their name plastered all over this game, Factor 5, the devs, had snuck in the Naboo Starfighter as a playable vehicle and then scrambled the code so well it went undiscovered for ages.

It wouldn’t have really made much sense either because the game was released before Episode 1 had dropped, therefore the vehicle hadn’t been seen by the public, outside of a few images in trailers. It’s the stuff that would've "broken the internet" if it was discovered about an upcoming movie today, but as it stands, the film had come out before information was then drip fed by Factor 5 on how to access the vehicle, leading some to speculate it was actually a preventative measure against any copyright issues they might have between the game and the movie.

Either way, this is one notable Star Wars secret you had to scour a galaxy-sized amount of code to find.
