10 Video Games ANYONE Can Speedrun In 10 Minutes
2. Outlast
For a good while, Outlast wasn't a game that could be run very quickly. Even when you know where you need to go, the road from start to end is pretty convoluted, and requires you to go back and forth picking up things to get to the next area.
However, a sneaky little trick was picked up a few years ago, which completely streamlined your speedrun - so long as you didn't mind using a cheeky glitch. At the very start of the game - in the room you enter your first vent from - you can door hop onto the top of the door, and above the map itself. From here, a series of strategic backwards crawls and hops will send you through this "layer" of the map at the perfect point, loading you in at the final area of the game.
As such, anyone willing to hop around in areas you were never meant to see is able to finish their speedrun of the game in roughly a couple of minutes, give or take a bit of time depending on how long you faff around to find the right place.
