10 Video Games Arachnophobes Could Never Handle

7. Resident Evil Remake

By the time you make it to the mid-point of Resident Evil you've already faced off against regular old zombies, zombie dogs, a mutated killer plant and a giant snake. However, each and every one of these initially terrifying enemies feels like a children's haunted house attraction by the time giant spiders show up at the mansion's front door. The worst part about these enemies isn't really how dangerous they are per se, but just how unnerving they are in the way they move around the screen. Taking up most of your view, they slither around silently, always popping up behind you or above you as you enter new rooms. And all that's even before you get to the root of the infestation, making your way to the main lair to face off against the boss right in the heart of a terrifying spider's nest. No thank you. https://youtu.be/9M1KsGhycTQ?t=542
