The man offers a significant amount of gold that can cover most of the expenses you will need to make to become stronger, but he expects you to pay the sum back with a 20% interest the next day.

If you forget about the promise and either not get enough money to repay Lehmar or not prepare yourself for his wrath, the loanshark will send two thugs after you to collect the money out of your unconscious body.

At lower levels fighting two armed henchmen can be nigh impossible, so you best remember to pay Lehmar back or remember not to deal with shady types like him in the first place.
