The controversial sequel to one of 2014’s best games is a huge installation. Interestingly the PS4 Pro version is nearly twice the size of the regular PS4 version, while there is only one version available for Xbox One, which is larger than both.
The increase in size of the PS4 Pro version is due to 4K textures, which must mean the Xbox One version has them automatically installed. This is also true for the PC edition, which must have larger textures that aren’t compressed as well.
The huge file size seems to be entirely down to textures being so big, but considering the less than warm reception, a lot of people would rather blame the influx of micro transactions for the game’s problems.
