10 Wars We Want To See In Future Call Of Duty Games

8. Vietnam - North Vietnam's Perspective

The Daily Stash26Date: 1 November 1955 €“ 30 April 1975 Location: Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos Belligerents: United States/South Vietnam/South Korea/Australia/New Zealand/Thailand/Laos Vs North Vietnam/Viet Cong/Khmer Rouge/Pathet Lao Yes I know, this would not only never be made, but could possibly offend a whole generation of Americans. Yet there is something strangely interesting about the idea of having a COD from the perspective of the North Vietnamese (Rather than the typical USA). North Vietnam managed to take on some of the most powerful nations on the planet and actually end up victorious. The fact they were limited in almost every way compared to their oppositions, sets up a great premises for the game. The game play, narrative and strategy potential for this perspective of the war is pretty amazing.
