10 Ways Call Of Duty Blackout Is Better Than Fortnite
7. A Solid Range Of Vehicles
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was the first of the battle royale games to incorporate vehicles into the fray. It's not a particularly fundamental aspect of the experience, so much so that Fortnite has never felt the need to copy it. Fortnite did however introduce shopping carts, but that's as close as its come.
Call of Duty aims to change all that by making vehicles a focal point of its Blackout mode. Treyarch has included four vehicles in the game thus far (as in BETA release), and those include an ATV, cargo truck, inflatable boat, and a helicopter. These vehicles are neither over or underpowered, and give the mode a dynamic feeling.
Each vehicle presents a different way to play, a new strategy for gamers to try out and potentially latch on to. And who knows, if the vehicles are popular upon release Treyarch may include more down the line.
With 80 players on the battlefield and various vehicles, Blackout promises to be a unique and chaotic experience that shoots some mayhem into the veins of the genre.
