10 Ways Call Of Duty Blackout Is Better Than Fortnite

8. A Massive AAA Budget From Day One

Fortnite may be the biggest game on earth right now, but it's still not Call of Duty. COD is the biggest gaming franchise of all-time and, even with the last few years being a downward trend for the series, it was still the best selling game every year.

As such, no company can provide a budget to a game like Activision. Epic Games is no slouch, and Fortnite makes an asinine amount of money each week, but that was after the game released.

Every Call of Duty costs at least $200 million to make, marketing included, which is far beyond your run-of-the-mill video game. We've simply not had a battle royale game with a budget like this.

That budget means high-levels of polish post-release too, as well as dedicated updates and content. Money isn't everything, but a boat-load of it goes a long way to ensuring a higher quality game experience.

Black Ops IIII will be a step above the competition.
