Talk among the online community and comments from those with the big say-so at Sony suggest that they will focus strongly on AAA titles in the first instant.
This is all well and good, and will no doubt deliver some ground breaking games to PS players, but it leaves a massive gap in the market for Microsoft and Xbox to exploit.
There's still a massive need and want for indie games, and if Sony are going to ignore this fact completely, it could be a massive win for Xbox.
While there is no clear mention of Microsoft's own dedication and commitment to developing indie games and titles, they also haven't moved to completely disregard it like Sony have.
This is a risky strategy for Sony to go with, and could give Microsoft a big boost early on in the inevitable head to head battle.
